Since Patiro (we) process your personal data, Patiro acts, according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679), as a Data Controller, making us responsible for the secure handling of your personal data. Patiro collects, processes, and stores your personal data for the purpose of connecting you to a clinical study and contacting you in case there is a match. For this we need your personal data, of which, in case of a match, we will contact you by phone to verify your personal data and to collect a verbal consent to disclose your data to scientific institutions conducting research projects. These research projects are without exception approved by the Ethics Committee.

When answering the questionnaire, it is possible to fill in the contact information and health related state on behalf of the minor. Should the minor match for a current study, the contact to the minor is overseen through the parent, caretaker, or legal guardian.
